Please visit the check-in table located near the Snack Shack to get your official score keeping card and set your line up prior to heading to your field. Each team should arrive at your hitting field 20 minutes before your designated time to get your players situated and do hitting warm ups before your start time.
Each player will get 10 swings in the upper and lower divisions. There will be a series of targets in the field, the player is awarded points for hitting each target. Each team is responsible for providing their own pitcher and it is important that you have someone throwing who can throw strikes and keep things moving. A swing is a swing, the player gets their allotment and then it is next player up with no exceptions. You will need an adult from your team to keep the official score. You should have an adult or two with the kids to keep the line moving. You should also recruit some parents to help shag balls.
Swing/Miss: 0 Points
Infield Hit: 2 Points (Does not roll out of the infield)
Outfield Hit: 5 Points (Rolls to the outfield grass)
Hit to Fence: 10 Points (Hits the Outfield Fence on a Roll or on the Fly)
Home Run: 35 Points (Over Fence)
Hitting Net: 20 Points (On a Roll or on the Fly)
Upon completion please turn in your official score card back at the check-in table. All scorecards must be turned in within 15 minutes of completing your designated time slot so please do not delay.
