Finally!

It is Games We Shall Play!

Hopefully you have heard the great news by now, but if not, we wanted to share that youth sports groups in Orange County are officially (lawfully) permitted to play games!

The California Department of Public Health’s revised guidance on youth sports cleared the way for programs to resume tomorrow (Feb. 26) in counties that are in the purple and red tiers if the county has a COVID-19 case rate at or below 14 per 100,000 people. Orange County met the benchmark earlier this week.  Hooray!

Although practices have been allowed, multi-team competitions (code for games) have been on hold, so this is great news and perfectly aligns with our timeline plans for the season.

  •  Minor B, Minor A and Majors:
Makeup tryouts will take place this Saturday and the player draft will start at the beginning of next week.  As such, you can expect to hear from your managers at that time.

  • Tee-Ball, Farm and Minor C:
We are working to create teams this week and next so you can expect to hear from your managers late next week or shortly thereafter.

Practices may begin as of March 6 so stay tuned for your team's exact day/time.  After allowing a few weeks of practices, we will begin our game schedule right after the Easter Break the week of April 12.

We are thrilled to get the kids back on the field and finally be able to PLAY BALL!
